What does the $20 cover?
The Ermes platform — your agent's identity, persona, memory, routine library, the messenger connections, the private subdomain, and your private server, fully provisioned and managed by us. AI compute is separate.
Can I bring my own AI account?
Yes. Plug in your existing AI account from your preferred provider and compute is billed there directly. We don't mark it up and we don't see your tokens.
Do I need my own AI account to try it?
No. Your 3 free days work right away on us — no card, no ChatGPT, no setup. You only connect your own ChatGPT (or other AI account) if you decide to keep your agent after the trial.
Do you ever see my conversations?
No. Your conversations and memory live on your private server. Ermes routes infrastructure events (e.g. “messenger reconnected”) but never reads message content.
What does the private server itself cost?
Nothing extra. Your private server is included in the $20 a month. We allocate, provision and manage it for you — you never have to log into a cloud provider.
What happens after the 3-day trial?
Your agent keeps running. We'll let you know before the trial ends, and you can either start the subscription (and connect your own ChatGPT) or pause and pick up later — memory and routines are preserved.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from settings; your agent stops at the end of the current billing period. We'll give you a download of your memory and routines to take with you.
